Gas Monitors;
Gas Chromatograph
The series 900 Toxic Gas Monitor from GOW-MAC is designed for
trace (ppb) detection of toxic gas
impurities in air, specialty, electronic, and industrial
gases. The monitor utilizes an
Gas Cylinder Weighing
The APM Oxyweigher™ Transport Kit from Intelligent Weighing Technology is designed for ease of use for weighing gas cylinders. The kit comes
with a steel cowl to protect the weighing indicator from damage by accidental impact, and a carrying handle for easy transport. The APM Series of
scales is NTEP and Measurement Canada approved for use in commerce.
The APM Series comes equipped with a built-in rechargeable battery which
lasts approximately 150 hours, an external power adaptor and an automatic power-save feature plus an indicator which shows battery life and
charge status. Intelligent Weighing Technology www.intelligentwt.com

Gas Monitors
The gas monitors from Honeywell Analytics offer a solution for
detecting virtually any toxic or
combustible gas leak found in lab
settings at educational,
industrial, medical, research or
nanotech environments. The
SPM (Single Point Monitor) from
Honeywell is a single-point
transportable gas detector that
uses the company’s patented
Chemcassette® technology to
detect toxic gases down to parts
per billion levels, with visible proof
of detection along with gas concentration level. Chemkey option
allows gas type to be changed
quickly and easily. It also offers a
built-in sample plump and NEMA
4X enclosure. Midas (shown) uses
advanced electrochemical sensing technology, with Power over
Ethernet communications, built-in relays and patented reporting technology, plus optional
pryolyzer. Midas can function as
a standalone unit or in multi-unit
automatic wet
analytical system employing a colorimetric detector. The extremely
sensitive monitor can (for many of
the analyses) operate over a range
of maximum sensitivity of 0-10
ppm full scale, detecting as minute
a quantity as 0.005 ppm or 5 ppb of
the gas to be measured. An assortment of test kits allow the Series
900 TGM to perform analyses such
as NH , Cl , N H , SO , HCl, HCN, HF,
3 2 24 2
NOx, formaldehyde, mercaptans,
nicotine, phenol, phosgene, total
aldehydes, and others.
The Series 200 Gas Chromatograph is a self-contained 19” rack
mount instrument. Detectors
include TCD, DID, FID, PID, or FPD.
The GC offers various system configurations, each dependent upon
the detector chosen. The Series 200
GC is computer controlled using
keypad with vacuum fluorescence
graphical display. The GC features
continuous, unattended operation (24/7); capillary, packed, or
micro-packed columns; auto-zero;
automated valve control; isolated,
discrete 4-20 mA outputs; and two
modes of operation: manual - used
for method development and/or
research; and automatic - used for
process analysis. GOW-MAC www.
