Heating Jackets
The new heating jacket element from L.J. Star allows direct
observation of high-temperature or temperature-sensitive
process fluids without creating a cold spot on temperature-controlled process piping. The new jacket fits directly on and
around a standard L.J. Star View-Thru visual flow indicator,
exposing only the small area of the indicator’s viewing port to
ambient temperature. The jackets are composed of “clamshell”

within an aluminum casting. The jackets are molded to maintain
contact with the specific visual flow indicator in use. They bolt

The Compact 3100 Series pressure transducer from Setra
provides an OEM solution for applications such as hydraulic
controls, HVAC systems, engine controls, industrial process,
off-highway equipment, compressors, and pumps. The unit’s
footprint less than 1 inch in diameter. The 3100 Series employs
thin film technology and a custom designed ASIC with accuracy to 0.25% full scale, long-term stability of 0.1%/yr, and
thermal stability accurate to within 1.0%/100°F over the entire
compensated temperature range of -40°F to 250°F. Offered in
pressure ranges from 100 psi up to 30,000 psi and a wide variety
of outputs, pressure fittings (NPT, UNF, BSP and Metric), and
electrical connectors (M12, Packard, Deutsch, DIN43650C and
