Elects CEO, Appoints VP,
Receives Kudos

The Board of Directors of Industrial Scientific Corporation has elected Justin McElhattan, 37, as President and Chief Executive Officer effective January 1, 2010. In this position, Mr. McElhattan will have full and direct responsibility for day-to-day operations, and for growing all worldwide business units and subsidiaries.

Industrial Scientific also announced that Tom Cun-ningham has joined the company as Vice-President, Global Operations.

Brooks Announces Digital
Capability

WMO Uses Picarro
Analyzers

Picarro, Inc., announced that the company’s analyzer will be used by the World Meteorological Organization’s (WMO) World Calibration Centre for Greenhouse Gases to conduct on-site system and performance audits at Global Atmospheric Watch (GAW) baseline stations. Carbon dioxide measurements gathered from stations around the world are required to be traceable to WMO primary standards maintained by the United States’ National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). www.picarro.com

Airgas, Inc. announced it has acquired the assets and operations of Tri-Tech, a Tampa, FL-based distributor of industrial, medical, and specialty gases and related supplies.
