the FT head is also used for the ceramic
head pump. Even in this much larger version it can be made to conform to the head
shape. The valve discs and valve bodies
are again of PTFE. PTFE has made possible
the development of a pump with a high
flow-rate and high resistance to chemicals.

all-PTFE two-stage diaphragm pump driven

NOTE: A resource on the design and application of diaphragm pumps is available
from KNF Neuberger’s website library, at
www.knf.com/library.htm Mechanically
Driven Diaphragm Pumps for Use with Gases.
The intention of this 52 page white paper
is to fill a gap and provide an overview of
the diaphragm pumps with mechanical
drives. In addition, examples of applications and advice concerning selection of
the right pump are included in the subject matter. This book serves to inform and
stimulate both the engineer constructively
working on design plans, and the engineer
undergoing training. G&I
