The BelGAS division of Marsh Bellofram
Corporation has introduced the Type P627,
a spring loaded, direct operating high-flow
gas regulator, designed to control both
low- and high-output pressure in oil and
gas applications. The P627 regulators offer
multi-position body and spring case configurations, with choice of aluminum, steel
or LCC body, bonnet and diaphragm casings
and a durable powder-coated epoxy exterior finish. Regulators are also available in an
external pressure registration model (P627M)
and with optional National
Standard of Corrosion
Engineers (NACE) compliant construction. BelGas

The Trace Source™ 57 Series refillable
permeation tubes extend the range of ana-
lyte compounds available to include high-
pressure gases such as O2, CO, CO2, CH4, C2H2,
etc. The 57 Series tubes are used in KIN-TEK
Gas Standards generators to dynamically
blend ppm and ppb mixtures directly from
the pure gas. Typically, permeation tubes
contain liquefied analyte compound (and
its vapor) as the permeate source. This
limits the range of compounds available
in permeation tubes. Series 57 tubes use a
controlled pressure of the analyte vapor as
the permeate source, thus allowing perme-
ation tubes of very low boiling compounds.
Dilutions from less than 103:1 to over 109:1
can be achieved in a single step. They are
particularly useful for preparing trace mix-
tures containing atmospheric gases, light
hydrocarbons and hydrides, and acid gases.
They can also be used to dilute multi-com-
